CHANGE MY MIND MEME DEBATE
There will be 2 cycles/waves or debate phases in the class period.
You will bring a handwritten or printed premise: "X : Change My Mind" to class for this simulation of a Q3 argument prompt in the AP Exam.
Submit your Change my Mind premise in Canvas module. Ideas/suggestions are below.
When rotating in the audience your goal is come up with argument that challenge the seated person's premise or argumentative position. When seated, you should have come to class prepared to face a range of claims against your position and should know how to challenge them. Your prompt is hopefully possible in an AP Exam (about an idea, question, social issue, etc) but make sure the one your submit is not offensive or overly dumb/trite. 41 AP Classroom samples of Q3 prompts are below if needed
This task is somewhat in preparation for the Claim and Counterclaim courtroom style debates we will do in April.
If you wish to print your premise on the meme template you can use THIS
